Iron ore mining and processing plant, Russia
Tasks:
• Decommissioning of the underground part of gallery No. 64, which is in the risk zone due to erosion by groundwater.
• Organization of transportation of unloaded iron ore raw materials and fluxes using the above-ground scheme.
Technical solution:
In the building of car dumper No. 2 at the -17.45 m mark, incoming raw materials are received on new mobile conveyors, which in turn are unloaded onto steep-angle conveyors. Then there is reloading onto tubular conveyors along the above-ground gallery and then onto transfer conveyors, from which the material goes to the gallery conveyors.
Uniqueness of the project:
A new transport scheme (steep-angle and tubular conveyors with Q = 2000 tons per hour), used for the first time at this enterprise and in Russia.
Result:
Construction and commissioning works have been completed, commissioning is expected in the 3rd quarter of 2025
